Again I´ve been nominated for an award (yippieh!!) – this time for the Spirit Animal Award, and again by my lovely friend Syeda 🙂
If you haven´t already done it by now – please have a look at her marvellous blog This is my life! You won´t regret it! I promise! 🙂
So, here come the rules (thankfully not as many as last time;) :
# Thank the blogger who nominated you, and link back to their page. (Done!)
# Post the award picture on your blog. (Likewise!)
# Write a short paragraph about yourself and what your blog means to you.
Well, what does my blog mean to me? To be honest: More than I´d imagined it would at the beginning of it, which was in August 2015! 🙂
Having (re-) discoverd my love for the creative arts a couple of months earlier, I somehow felt uncertain about showing my art to other people, especially people I know (some of them being professional artists).
What would they think of it, of me??
At that time I was reading “One plus One” by Jojo Moyes (wonderful book!) where among many other things a teenage boy starts to write a blog in order to deal with everything that´s happening around him. My thought: what a splendid idea!
That´s when I started my “Secret Art Expedition”.
Somehow it felt much easier to share my drawings, paintings and thoughts with people I actually didn´t know.
What I didn´t expect to happen though, was, that these people – YOU! – would become friends 🙂 So many of you inspire me daily with their great, great blogs to do even more art!
So, here comes a big THANK YOU to all of you!!!
# If you could be any animal, what would it be?
Instead of writing about it, I might just as well show you one of my paintings;)
# Pick and notify ten nominees.
- Charliiandmeg
- GeorgieGrl
- Charles French on words reading and writing
- C.M. Blackwood
- Image Earth Travel
- Knitting with heart
- Jean Lee´s World
- Cakeordeathsite
- Spearfruit
- Look around!
Good luck and have fun!!!
P.S. I really wish I could nominate all of you, but I know some wouldn’t want to do it. Still, if you see this post and are willing to, pleeeeaaaaassssseeeee count yourself as my special nominee!;)
Congratulations, and thank you! Somehow I missed this.

Ahh, now you´ve moved me to tears! Thank you so, so much Chris! I´m so glad we´ve met here, too! 🙂
Wolves are so magnificent, I can not stop admiring them in every possible way:)
Unfortunately they are very misunderstood animals, especially regarding their hunting behaviour, which is why they still try to exterminate or at least try to chase them off here in Germany 😦 Makes me so sad everytime I read about it in the news…

It happens here in the US also because they threaten livestock. They are making a comeback though. Keep the faith, Sarah. Cheers

Wow! Thanks for doing it dear! So glad to know things about your blog. Coincidentally, I too began being active on my blog somewhere in August 2015 – though I had the blog since 2014! So, I followed my muse here! 😘😍
