Ghostly Ruins

Ghostly Ruins
Ghostly Ruins (acrylic on canvased paper; may 2016)

I started this painting months ago and let it lying around in order to do other things instead. Sometimes it is like that with a painting. It kind of needs time to incubate.

Today however I finally finished it, my Ghostly Ruins! Hope you like it!

    1. Wow! Thank you so much, Cathy!!! 🙂 I´m so glad you like it and the “special effect” I tried to create 😀
I do believe that stories need even more time! I always imagine it like hatching an egg 😉

    1. Thank you, Lion!! 🙂 To be honest, I´m not sure myself 😉 Sometimes those images just appear out of my head, my heart…who knows! The artist´s part is to let those images out, the viewer´s is to decipher their meaning (if there is any 😉 ) Have a great day/evening! 🙂

    1. Thank you so much, Chris!! 🙂
It was definitely challenging to paint architecture instead of humans or animals 😉 So glad you find it mysterious as well – that´s something I´ve been secretely hoping to create! 🙂 Cheers!

It´s funny, most of my paintings need a couple of weeks, then there are some I finish in a matter of days, and then there are those that take months to be accomplished. Have a lovely sunday! xoxo
