A Bashful Beauty

Beauty

I sketched this portrait with Audrey Hepburn in mind, an amazing actress I´ve always admired very much, not only for her stunning and elf-like beauty but for her tremendous skills as a dancer and actress.

I freely admit that this drawing does not really look like her…I will have to practice more to get it right someday!

But I do hope you like my bashful beauty anyway!

Have a great weekend!

  1. This is lovely Sarah. I’m reading on my iPad, so had to scroll to see the full face. You’ve read really captured Audrey in the hair and eyes. By seeing those first, I knew who you’d drawn. She was an amazing person, not only as an actress. Breakfast at Tiffany’s is one of my favourite ,overs, and I think I’m a bit overdue for a wine, chocolate and DVD session. Thanks for reminding me 👍

    • Thank you sooo much, Su!! 🙂 You really made my day by saying that 😀
I´ll keep practice drawing her and hopefully get the other features right sometime! My main fault in this drawing is that the face is too long, I think. But getting the hair and eyes right is already so much more than I was hoping for 🙂
Haha! My DVD session looked exactly the same 😉 Always happy to inpire someone to enjoy a good film or two 😉 Have a very lovely weekend, Su! xoxo

  2. Before scrolling down, I was thinking Audrey Hepburn so well done Sarah! You are absolutely on the right track. Oh, I do love Breakfast at Tiffany’s. We should all have a bit of Holly Golightly in our hearts. 🙂 xoxo
