It´s cold, it´s wet – it´s Easter!

Happy Easter!

P.S. It´s quite cold and rainy around here, so I painted this snowshoehare still clad in his winter coat as an Easter bunny for you 😉

  3. Very beautiful painting Sarah. Love how you make one element stands out (the eye). It creates a ground relationship. I also like the different types of lines (for example the background) you used to visually connect everything together as it gives motion and energy in your painting. Great job! P.S. It is cold and raining here today but spring weather is right around the corner. 😊

    • Thank you so much, Dominique! I used very little amounts of color in this one, leaving most of it white since it was the dominant part of this painting anyway. It felt more like using the color to only accentuate here and there a bit which I thoroughly enjoyed and never tried before.
Hope the weather will brighten soon your side of the Big Pond! 🙂
Have a very lovely day, mon amie and thanks so much for your visit! xoxo

      • It is so nice to learn how an artwork is done and the ways the artist use is tools. I also like the fact that you aloud yourself to try new approach even if this must be scary at first. It was Brrrr so cold today here, but it should warm up a little over the weekend. Speak to you soon mon amie. xoxo

  4. Such a beautiful snowshoe hare! I’m glad they have all that fur to stay warm. It was cold where I live too, and usually it’s warm by now. I’m so tired of it, but it’s bound to change soon. Have a good week, Sarah, and let’s look forward to some warm, sunny weather! xx

    • Thank you very much, Charlie! 🙂 💕 Oh no! Snow! Hope it´s going to melt today. Today it´s much better around here, the rain has stopped and it´s warmer – many happy kids around having fun searching for eggs! 😀

  5. Happy Easter to you as well, Sarah. Your bunny is looking for the eggs that chickens lay. He’s very sweet. I’m sorry, I didn’t paint anything for you. ;( It’s cold and wet here too. Have a lovely day anyway.

  6. Aww, your painting is adorable and lovely, Sarah! I’m always in awe of your talent. It’s sunny here, but a bit cooler, high sixties. It’s not raining, though, and I’m grateful so the little kiddies can have fun on their Easter egg hunts. I miss those days when mine were little. But we’re all together today, which is wonderful. Wishing you a lovely day and stay warm. Hugs! ❤🌼🐰
