Spring Already!?

Well, not really. 😉

But on my way to the park for my Sunday stroll today, I came across this beautiful new mural which made me believe that, despite the cold temperatures, it could well be Spring. 🙂

Any signs of Spring in your part of the world?

Happy Sunday!

  1. Beautiful site, your photos are fantastic, so are your watercolors! Will check more later! Thanks for liking a comment I made on another site. Still winter in this part of Canada! That’s a great mural. Enjoy your day!

    1. Thank you very much for your lovely comment, Steve! ☺
I think winter has a firmer grip on Canada as it has on Germany in general, I imagine it to be quite tough.
Have a wonderful new week ahead!

  2. That’s beautiful! I love street art. We have a few snowdrop appearing and my parent’s garden has a little splash of colour with the pansies and primroses (I think) that my Dad planted 🙂 Have a lovely weekend Sarah xx

    1. Me too, Gill! It’s a great way to beautify our cities. In the last couple of weeks I’ve heard quite often that there are already flowers popping up their heads in England – I’m quite jealous! 😄😉
Have a wonderful weekend too! xxx

    1. You’re very welcome!! 😀 Wouldn’t it be great if spring would come early? I really don’t know why it seems so difficult since Winter does it all the time! LOL! 😀

    1. It rather is, isn’t it? 😉 Kind of makes me want to try hands at airbrushes and sprays. 😁

    1. I’m very fond of red poppies, Liz, they belong you favourite flowers, so I was doubly happy to see this beautiful painting. 😄
Too bad about that storm, will keep my fingers crossed that it will be the last one for this winter!

  4. I LOVE that mural. I would stay there all day and maybe even put a table and chair there to sit and soak it up. We finally have some sunshine though it’s still quite chilly. I love the sunshine. Spring is here early as usual with buds popping out and the garden is calling me but I’m not quite ready. That mural could get me ready though. Thanks for sharing.

    1. You’re very welcome, Marlene! And that’s a wonderful idea to just sit in front of this mural and soak up its beauty. But I’ll have to wait until it gets warmer! 😂
How lovely that there are already signs of spring your part of the world. Here you can see tulips breaking through the earth but no flowers yet. But it can’t be long now. 😄 Hope you soon get to enjoy your garden again!

    1. You’re welcome, Chris! Keep warm and best to stay inside then. 😉 There’s a storm heading our way too for the next two days. And the worst? My heating is broke down!! 😂

  5. Wow! Someone really spent some time on this mural – it’s beautiful. It must make you smile when passing by this building. We’re planning to see the California spring wildflowers soon, a few hours drive from here.

    1. It really is, and I look forward passing it from now on! 😄 As I would with the ones you made for the children. They’re wonderful! 😊 And yay to seeing those wildflowers soon!

      1. The murals are in our temple Children’s Library, so they’re fairly high up the walls. We couldn’t put children’s books up that high and the bare walls were unattractive, so I volunteered to paint a series of scenes relating to Jewish holidays and stories. I’ve discovered that many kids do not look up. Kids who have been in the library dozens of times don’t know the murals were there. Our cantor, at our temple for a year, didn’t discover them until a few weeks ago.

It’s OK – keeps the ego in check. God makes me laugh.

      2. That’s too bad that your beautiful murals are situated that high on the wall. Humans have a tendency to not look up, I really don’t know why. And now I understand why taking their pictures is a bit complicated. 😉

    1. That’s exactly it – beautifying a public place! 😃 We could use more of this here in Berlin.
And Autumn can be very welcome too after a hot summer and has its own appeal. Wishing you a wonderful one! 😄💕🐨🌸🍃🍁
