A Knight’s Tale – 30 Days 30 Songs

Day 24 of my new blog challenge –

Share Your Music! 30 Days 30 Songs!

(Hang in there! Only a couple more and then you’re released! 😉 )

Please feel free to join me anytime you want – casual players welcome! 😉

Today’s song is dedicated to two wonderful and brilliant artist that I truly miss:

Heath Ledger who was one of the most talented actors I’ve seen until this day and who left us far too early,

and David Bowie from whom I hope he will simply continue making his awesome music wherever he might be now because I’m sure, if someone can do, than it’s him!

I’m including a scene from the movie “A Knight’s Tale” which I absolutely love – both the movie and the scene 😉 – and also the stand-alone version of the song.

If you haven’t watched the movie yet, I can only recommend that you do – apart from a good story it’s full of really excellent music as well. 🙂

  1. I’ve never seen the film but this scene is so much fun, I’ll have to find it to watch. Wouldn’t you love to see this song/dance performed at a wedding? The loss of two talented men, the loss of so many talented people – always makes me ache.

    1. Should I ever marry I will remember asking everyone to dance to this song like this! So you better start practicing. 😉

It makes my heart ache as well, Shari.

  2. Thank you for the memories, Sarah 🙂 Youtube is my favorite – I am always listening for something while working. Cannot imagine a life without music. xx

    1. You’re very welcome, Inese! I love listening to Youtube as well, especially finding new songs whilst looking for something else. Life without music is unimaginable indeed. As much as I’m fascinated by medieval and Renaissance history for example and wouldn’t mind traveling back in time for a day or two, I wouldn’t want to give up my CD player and radio!! 😀 xxxxxxxxxxx

  3. Wonderful choice. Heath Ledger had amazing talent and was taken far too young.
    Love the song (of course).
I have to remind myself that Bowie is gone too, but at least had a long life.
I have seen the movie, but it must have been a while ago, as I can’t remember all that much about it. Something to watch again 🙂 Thank you xxx

    1. It’s been a while since I watched that movie but I still have the soundtrack! I remember that I kept singing throughout the whole time whilst watching it! LOL! 😀 xxx

    1. That’s too bad, Jina, I’m sorry you can’t open the videos. I have the same problems sometimes myself on other blogs and don’t know who’s to blame for this. Probably Youtube itself!

    1. It is a fun movie, Tracy! 😄 I think he did have fun making this movie, who wouldn’t like being a knight and dancing to some cool music? 😉
Thanks for the link! It’s a good idea to include it in your comments. 😊
