As autumn comes nearer every day, I´m trying to soak up every bit of sunshine before it gets all cloudy and gray around here… just like a sunflower 🙂 I´ve always admired these beautiful flowers, especially for their name-giving ability to follow the light, even on a rainy day. And I justContinue reading “Ah! Sunflower”

A Storm´s Coming…
As is often the case in summer, I´ve been on a short round on my bike at the former airport “Tempelhofer Feld” a couple of weeks ago when suddenly the clouds that started gathering in the west, rapidly came nearer. I made a few pictures and went home as fast as possible. Literally twoContinue reading “A Storm´s Coming…”
New Life
It´s not easy sighting those little chicks living in a pond nearby my home. The reed is very cleverly used as camouflage. But early in the morning when there are not many people around, you can be lucky and catch a glimpse of them.
Sepia Sunday – On the Edge
I found this tree while enjoying a walk along the “Kleiner Wannsee” (Little Wannsee – the word “see” means lake) that connects the “Großer Wannsee” (Big Wannsee) with the Pohlesee. It´s not far from the rowing club I´ve been a member of when I was at high school. We used to train here becauseContinue reading “Sepia Sunday – On the Edge”

Sketching Squirrels…
Last weekend I´ve been feeding some squirrels in our near-by park and tried to “catch” them by quickly drawing them, while they were busy cracking nuts;)
