This wall divides the former airport “Tempelhofer Feld” from an adjacent cemetery.
I only made this shot because I heard a maintenance car coming from behind me and pressed myself to the wall in order to get out of its way. When it was gone, I thought what was in front of me looked quite nice and pressed the button. 🙂
Have a beautiful Sepia Sunday!!
That’s a mighty wall! 🙂

Thank you!! 🙂 In the first link the bricks even look like freshly painted at some places! It´s a lovely building, I especially like the contrast between the framed white windows/door and the red bricks! Looking forward to that post!

My eyes are much better, though very light-sensitive still, thank you for asking, dear! xoxo

Really cool long angle view – and glad the mainetnance truck went by-
Oh and the other day I took a photo of some painted bricks – all this layered red paint – but smooth too – not sure I like painted brick – but my “flat” capture of it was fun!

Yep, first I was annoyed by the car and afterwards I was glad it went by 😉
Can you point me out to your picture? I tried to find it, but can´t 😦

Oh sorry! I literally just took the photo and have not uploaded it – but it is a screen saver right now!
But I will come back and show you in June when i post again!
I actually took the photo of the red painted brick (which was an old building) because i thought it might make a good background image for a quote or different photo- hmmmm

You too! And side note – I liked this post also because I love bricks – and then seeing different countries from a blogger’s lens is just enriching – have a great rest of May! 😉

I couldn´t agree more – it´s fantastic to see what other people can watch everyday and photograph! Better even than leafing through a magazine I find 🙂
Bricks are a wonderful building material, and so lovely to photograph I discovered 😉 Much nicer than plain old cement 😉 You too have a great rest of May!! 🙂
