    1. Thank you, Bette! Oh, you’re lucky to have different apple trees, most people only have one variety. We used to have lovely little apple orchard at uni with lots if different apple trees but then they decided to build an new library and it had to go. That was such a sad day for me as I loved hanging out there and grab an apple for lunch. xoxo

  9. That is so clever, Sarah…I feel a little sad for the apple! 😀 I eat apples completely differently. I wash them and then cut them into little pieces which I then eat. My grandmother used to peel the whole apple in one paring and slice off bits which she put in her mouth with the knife.

Actually I sometimes eat apples just like you do, it depends on whether I’m too hungry or not. 😉 And with this one I thought it would look better what with the bites and all. 😊 My grandfather ate his apples exactly like your grandmother!! He was very fond of them and only shared them with his horses, never with his children who had to sneak some behind his back. 😂

    How’s the weather in Berlin? Over here the snow is gone and we get a week with lost of Sunshine and 10 till 15 degrees 🙂 🙂 🙂

    1. Thank you, Patty! I often think that it´s the small things in life that need to be put into focus more often so we can learn to appreciate them more.
      It´s a bit warmer than last week here but still too cold for my taste! 😀 But at the end of the week there shall be about 9 degrees too! Time to get out our bikinis, eh? 😉 LOL! Hugs! xxx

    of life in one panel. Beautiful.
    As Sharon also says, by planting those seeds you can make a whole generation of apples again.

  27. A wonderful study of the life of an apple, Sarah. And if you’re really industrious, you can plant those seeds and have an apple tree one day, bearing fruit for future generations to enjoy. For now, you’ve got a painting to remind you.
