There´s only one thing that´s good when you´re ill: lying in bed and watching films you love 🙂
This time though I only did a drawing of the main character of the film who also happens to be a very important and prominent character in literature;)
Dare I ask if you can recognize the actor???;) (Looking very much forward to your guesses!!)
I’m not familiar with the classic film and literature character (hmmm, does that make me uncultured?!) … You draw while ill?! I act miserable and make everyone else around me miserable lol.
Awesome drawing. Get well soon.

Haha! No, of course it doesn´t! 🙂
And I know exactly what you mean, Christine – I act the same to my poor fellow humans;) But drawing helps me a bit to forget about not feeling well, so I´m also rather selfish there;) Thank you so much for your lovely comment! Have a wonderful week! Sarah 🙂 xoxo

Take care, too Christine! xoxo

Looks to me like Peter Ustinov playing Inspector Poirot?

Ah; the benefits of a misspent youth. I’d almost forgotten Ustinov played Poirot. These days I think of David Suchet. Cheers, Su.

Haha! I wouldn´t call it a misspent youth! Very much the opposite so!;)
And you´re right, David Suchet is also wonderful at being Poirot:) Cheers!

Hm! My lecturers might not have agreed! I think Suchet is closer to how Poirot is described in the books. But both were great. 🙂

You might be right there, but I always prefered Ustinov;)
He was such an exceptional man who could make everybody smile and laugh with giddiness:)

He was extraordinary; I mainly remember him as a humorist rather than an actor.

Okay…I’m going out on a limb here..Hercule Poirot from the writing of Agatha Christie? I’ve only read one or two of her books but have seen images of the character many times. If I’m wrong, my sincere apologies. If I’m right, do I get bragging rights for the remainder of the day?
Either way, it is a lovely image.
Hope you’re feeling better and able to enjoy some nice weather there. Cheers!

Whoo-hoo! Perfect guess, Chris! Congratulations!:) Full bragging rights granted for at least a week!!;)
And thank you for the compliment:)
Hope you´re having a wonderful weekend with lots of good coffee, sunshine and pictures to share with us! Cheers! 🙂

Woo-Hoo – Bragging rights for a week…I was not aware the stakes were so high!
The weather is iffy but cleared enough for me to get in a hike. I’ll take it!
Cheers!

Okay so I misspelled his last name – Poirot!!!

Hahaha! And that´s exactly what so many of the other characters in the novels do – what a funny coincedence!!!;) Have a lovely weekend! xoxo

Hercule Potrot is my guess – a detective in Agatha Christie novels – don’t know who the actor is though. Good job!!

Oh, dear! Now I´m terribly disappointed it;) Nah, I admit, it´s not a very good one, and if you don´t like the actor as much as I do, it must be difficult. But here´s another clue: it´s a detective story… Hope that helps! If not you, maybe others will benefit from it;)

Hey don’t be disappointed dear! I am not much into movies and actors so, it was a poor attempt. I’m sure someone soon will get it! 😉
And how is all going? How’s health?

Don´t worry: of course I´m not really disappointed – I never ever could be!! That was just me overdramatizing it a bit for fun:)
And it is absolutely fine if you´re not so much into movies or actors – shows only that you´ve got a real life to live;)
Oh, a bit up and down I think, but generally I´m on the mend. And thanks for that! (I´m terribly lousy at being ill: moaning and lamenting about it all the time – as you can see;) ) Have a lovely weekend, Syeda! And don´t forget to tell me when this article of yours shows up!! Looking forward to it very, very much, dear! xoxo

Thank you, dear, that´s so sweet of you!!:) Don´t worry about face recognition…this is just a quick sketch, and I never really expect anybody to guess right – and am always buffled if they do!;) Have a wonderful weekend! xoxo
